SolShare was approached by local community members to install solar in tiskʷat (Powell River). We are working with local partners, including the Qathet Film Society , to develop a community owned solar project. The 24 kW solar array would be owned by local residents and other people in BC.
The Patricia Theatre will host the project on their rooftop and purchase the solar power.
There is the opportunity for up to 99 community members to become co-owners. The minimum buy in is $500.
We will begin accepting local shareholders on September 14th.
